Buried in the Snow (working title)

Expected sometime in 2027, now looking for Beta Readers

A Psychological Thriller

Winter has settled over Philadelphia, covering the city in fresh snow and burying its darkest secrets beneath a blanket of silence. By day, Emily Poe is a brilliant cybersecurity consultant specializing in high-profile data breaches. Quiet, disciplined, and almost impossible to read, she has built a career uncovering digital predators hiding in plain sight. But when the workday ends, Emily follows a different set of rules. She hunts the men who have escaped justice; those protected by wealth, influence, or the failures of a broken system.

Her newest assignment begins with what appears to be a routine corporate cyberattack. A luxury property management company has suffered a catastrophic data breach exposing thousands of rental applicants' most sensitive personal information. As Emily reconstructs the attack, a trail of stolen identities, financial exploitation, and hidden relationships leads her to Annabel Vale, a charismatic executive whose carefully curated life hides dangerous secrets of its own. The more Emily investigates, the more she begins to suspect that Annabel is both victim and predator.

As the investigation deepens, an obsessed former lover begins stalking Annabel, an FBI agent starts connecting crimes no one else believes are related, and Emily discovers that some threats cannot be solved with forensic evidence alone. Drawn together by fear, deception, and shared secrets, Emily and Annabel form an uneasy alliance that blurs the line between protector and accomplice. Each woman recognizes something unsettling in the other, and neither fully understands where that fascination will lead.

Set against the frozen streets of Philadelphia and the isolated forests of Pennsylvania, Buried in the Snow is a psychological thriller exploring vigilantism, cybercrime, obsession, and the dangerous consequences of believing justice can be taken into your own hands. As the bodies begin to accumulate and investigators close in, Emily must decide whether protecting another person is worth sacrificing the carefully controlled life she has spent years constructing.

Set against the Philadelphia winter, this debut psychological thriller follows Emily Poe, a brilliant cybersecurity investigator who secretly hunts violent predators overlooked by the justice system. When a devastating corporate data breach leads her to a charismatic identity thief with dangerous secrets of her own, Emily finds herself caught between justice, obsession, and an FBI investigation closing in from every direction.

THE NARRATIVE OF ARTHUR GORDON PYM OF NANTUCKET (Illustrated)

A Psychological Thriller

Long before modern psychological thrillers, survival horror, and Antarctic mysteries, Edgar Allan Poe created one of the most haunting and enigmatic adventures in American literature.
The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket follows the young Arthur Gordon Pym as he embarks on what begins as a youthful maritime adventure but quickly descends into mutiny, shipwreck, starvation, survival, and encounters with the unknown.
From the whaling ports of Nantucket to the remote reaches of the Southern Ocean, Pym's journey pushes beyond the boundaries of civilization and into territories few dare to explore.
Along the way, readers will encounter:

  • Mutiny aboard a doomed vessel

  • Shipwreck and desperate survival at sea

  • Mysterious islands and unexplored lands

  • Strange cultures and unsettling discoveries

  • Themes of isolation, fear, obsession, and mortality

  • One of the most debated endings in literary history

Part adventure novel, part Gothic horror, and part psychological exploration, Poe's only completed novel remains one of the most influential works of nineteenth-century literature. Its themes and imagery have inspired generations of writers, including H. P. Lovecraft, Jules Verne, and Herman Melville.
This Illustrated Edition Features:

  • The complete unabridged public-domain text

  • Original illustrations by Timothy James Wilson

  • Enhanced visual presentation for modern readers

  • A collector-friendly edition of Poe's legendary novel

More than a sea adventure, The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket is a journey into the unknown—an exploration of the human mind when confronted with isolation, terror, and the limits of survival.
For readers who enjoy classic literature, Gothic fiction, maritime adventure, psychological suspense, and the enduring works of Edgar Allan Poe, this illustrated edition offers a fresh way to experience one of the most mysterious novels ever written.

In my opinion, Edgar Allen Poe is one of the greatest authors in history, and his novel The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket is one of my favorite books. So, I decided to illustrate it.
